Red-billed Streamertail Hummingbird (Trochilus polytmus polytmus)
Captive Specimen at Butterfly World, Coconut Creek, FL
Taken on 11/09/2005

20D, 1/500s, f2.8, Av, 550EX + HSS, ISO 800, Sigma 150mm Macro, HH, 90% of frame.

This is my favorite bird at Butterfly World. It's very difficult to photograph this species without cutting off at least part of the tail. I wish the branch and leaves weren't in the way, but I like the pose.

Comments and critiques welcome.

I would like the subject placed a little more on the right side of the frame. Other than that, very nice capture, Jay. I like the included habitat.
