Andres, welcome to NSN.

This is a fantastic first post. Love the comp. Good job getting a clear shot of this guy and also for getting the green background without any black in it.

A great camo for this bird ...

* You forgot to include the image in your last post which was deleted by me subsequently. *

Welcome Andres, A great image you have here, first post or 1,000th post! Someone should tell this bird that the camo works better when it is against the trunk of the tree!

Very nice lighting for this one. Great Job!

Awesome first post! love all the subject elements. The bark and bird feather symphony does it for me here. Kinda of rare to get a shot like this without all kinds of sky hot spots showing through. It is out of balance between the left side and right side, which you could rectify by cropping off 1/3 to 1/2 the tree on the right. As much as I hate to see that great tree bark go it would put a heavier viewer focus to the owl. Is this like a long eared owl of some kind from where you live? Very wonderful!

Welcome. This is a great image whether it is your first or millionth post. Great nature story! Amazing how it looks exactly like the tree bark. Wonderful that you positioned yourself so nothing obstructed the view of the owl. :)

Well done. You made the best possible image in an extremely difficult situation. If you moved your rig a half inch in any direction, you would have made the image worse...
best and love, artie
