Dennis and Cheryl literally climbed a cliff to get in position for some Bighorn Sheep. It was quite steep and as you may be able to tell, quite cold. I think it was -25C that day....

Jeff,

I am getting cold just remembering! Personally, I think Dennis would get better pictures if he would put a camera body on the end of that lens! Of course I haven't even figured out where any of my camera gear is and I really seem to have lost my legs! Dennis really isn't THAT much taller than me! thanks for the post-I think!!!

I believe Dennis has anti-freeze for blood, putting on a coat only for a brief moment the entire trip
Cheryl looks like she is just trying to stay warm, and Dennis trying to choose which of the MANY lenses he took up the cliff to use on the sheep  He does not miss much, the guy is a dynamo!

Best,

Chas

It looks like I was there on the warm day! It was only a few degrees below freezing on the Sunday. (Cold enough that I felt it necessary to change into my winter boots, mind you...)

As I said in another post, you guys need to come back in summer. Look for babies instead of rut. (The babies are so much cuter than the rams anyway.) The scenery will be much different, and the temperature will probably be above freezing.

Jeff, great shot! Dennis looks like he might be trying to figure out how to moderate butting rams, a bit more challenging than Naturescapers. Meanwhile, Cheryl seems to be hoping that they'll just stop if she ignores them.

Nice shot Jeff....I think Cheryl might be helping herself to some of Dennis' gear while he's too frozen to feel it. Way to go Cheryl :D

Thanks for that comment. It allowed me to figure out when it was probably taken. When coming down from the high rocks and bighorns (shot of Dennis that Chas posted), Dennis carried some of my gear down in his vest for me so I could crawl down the rocks more safely. So I was indeed getting gear from him. It just happened to be my own.

Thanks again for your assistance Dennis.
