Super shot of this interesting bird! Good position and detail, the BG looks fine to me. I guess in addition to camo over the hide, a layer of Kevlar may be useful as well... :)

I keep forgetting this is breeding season down under. This one's great, I've never seen the spurs shown so prominently. Keep it up, and show us some other Australian waders; you've got some great species down there!
