Beautiful E.J.

Looks like La Jolla will be the place for Pelicans in So Cal this year. The Bolsa Chica Walk Bridge is now closed for rebuilding. Re-open Time frame TBD.

Outstanding EJ--like him isolated against the deep blue Pacific!

The deep blue water helps make this one for me, EJ. Wing position is very nice too.

I especially like the way the bird stands out from the deep blue water ...
Nicely done, EJ!

Awesome. I know the word has been used too much, but it applies.

You handled the dark bird against a dark ocean well, EJ. The peli pops off the background. Great head and wing pose. Plus, you were there when their colors are at the peak. Some folks do not know that the pelis only have these fabulous colors during Dec. and Jan, and even then, only some of the birds look spectacular, like your's.
