Beautiful image, Alan. Since this was a set up perch was it your intent that the vertical part of the perch be OOF?

Neil, I was shooting 100 speed film and had to open up to get enough shutter speed. Not enough DOF for the whole branch. I also placed the perch in the lake so it was a hassle to get out and tweek the perch, and as I moved my blind in line with the sun, I found the angle was not ideal for getting the perch in full focus and the bird.
