The pose, color, exposure, catchlight in the eye -- you've captured it all in a great image. The smooth background sets off the bird perfectly. I'm glad you got finally got him.

Nice shot. :wink: Excellent details and sharpness! You were standing (or sittting.. :wink: ) a bit too much to the right as the best light was on the left side of the bird if we look from the back. :wink:
