Al...great action shot. I love that Lagoon! So glad I went on that IPT with Arte and he took us there. I went back there last January and stayed at the Holiday Inn. They had just re-opened after the hurricane damage they had.

My wife was happy because she could lay out on the beach and I was even happier because the lagoon was right out our door. Not a whole lot of birds but I came back with some great silhouettes from one of the best sunsets I have ever witnessed.

Al..I did look around...I walked the whole Lagoon and it was pretty empty. Some small shorebirds on the beach side but I was looking for some large wading birds. When I did find something I couldn't get close enough to photograph.

I was just about ready to pack it in when this gorgeous sunset started to develop. And just about at the peak color a blue heron and and white egret flew in and landed right in front of me for some great silhouettes.

It was one of those moments where you just stood there and said Thank You God!

Can't wait to go back!
