New Holland Honeyeater

Taken with 1dmk2, 135L about 3ft from the bird. Picture is uncropped as well. Had this lens for almost 2 years and I seldom use it. Just thought I give it a go :)

Great catch of this bird on these flowers. Three feet away? That's pretty amazing!

Thanks Heather,

Its spring here now and its time to take photos again:) and yes it is 3 ft and maybe closer. I forgot to say I took it through the house window and thats why the bird was not aware I was on the other side of the glass.

This bird is spectacular! I wish we had them in ohio! I use my 135/2 lens whenever I can and love it.. Nice work.

One of the best EF optic this 135/2L is. I didn't know it can be a great bird lens though ... :wink:
