Hi Dan,

Captivating shot. How was the lighting done on this one? The flower appears to "own" all light in the photo. Did you use a flash place a little above the lotus?

All natural lighting. This one was in mixed shade.

Very pretty shot, Dan -- I really like how the white flower pops against the dark background and how you maintained sharpness in all the key areas. I too like the reflection -- I don't know if it was possible or not, but it might have been nice to move left and catch all the yellow of the flower in the reflection.

Lovely picture. You used the available light very well to manipulate the light on the image. The flower stands out nicely against the darker background and the reflection is a nice bonus.

Very complex; a thinking piece when one realizes the reflection is in a pool of water on a leaf on a pool of water. Cool.
