Great comp and I like his expression. I wish the image was shown at the full size allowed.

Thanks. I was hoping to get a full-frame shot as well, but just below the frame in this shot was the handler's glove :)

I like the catch of the open bill here. This bird seems to have "attitude". :)

Our posting regulations allow for photos up to 650 pixels on the longest side, I think Chris was saying he would like to see it posted closer to that maximum to better appreciate it. As posted, it's 400 pixels on the longest side, which is fine if that's what you prefer, just makes it a little harder to study the detail.

I met some great folks at Hawk Cliff on Lake Erie this afternoon who pointed me towards this group.

I've updated the image with a larger version. I just noticed that the 400 limit applies to panoramas. I guess I was just so excited to start posting... :)
