Hi all,

Pretty much recovered from the bike smash, although the scar doesn't make me look any prettier!!!

Here is a nice Summer Plumage Wood Sandpiper taken in May. Maybe 30 minutes before sundown, lovely evening....

1Ds 500/4

Thanks,

Alister

Alister,

The low angle and the eye contact make this an excellent shot. Very well done.

Glad that you recovered quickly, Alister!

A lovely shot and the low shooting angle puts this over the top ...

Sweet image, great news on your condition. Are you out shooting yet? That's the real question. :)

Hi Mike,

Thanks, yes I am, just. We were in Beijing for 3 days and I've posted some new expressive images on my website and some abstracts addressing the impact in nature of China's massive industrial expansion.

I was out the other morning with the big gun, but only for Dragonflies and Lotus flowers.

Cheers all,

Alister
