Nothing to write home about, just a duck portrait in sweet light with a little fill

MII, 400 f/2.8, 2x, manual exposure 1/500 @ f/6.3, ISO 320, fill at –2/3, tripod

Thanks for looking! :D

Nice looking lady. Looks like a mallard hen.

The light is very nice and the reflections in the water add to the image.

Nicely done, Sven. I like the little ripples in front of her.

Sven, I like the color, light, and the wet look of the bill.

She's a beauty. And you've captured her extremely well.

Lana said it all for me. No such thing as 'just a duck'. 8)

Hehe, I know it’s 'not just a duck’ and to be honest I quite like this image, but it can’t compete with all the colorful birds you have over there :)

Thanks for all the nice comments :)

Best,
Sven
