Good Friday, 2005
Tai Po Kau

EOS 10D, EF500mm f/4 L, EF1.4x II, 550EX + BB manual 1/8, Sidekick
f/8, 1/200s, ISO200
camera RAW, PS7 clone/burn, ~60% of full-frame

Same bird taken at the same time as last post.

Very nice images of these birds. I am finding them a bit dark. But, your composition is very good and pose captures are excellent.

Again dark as many of your shots are - I think you need to calibrate your monitor - but otherwise a very nice shot.

Besides the darkness, I'd like to see him not so centered. I'd trim some off the left.

Some adjustment on mid-tone using curve, add back a catchlight, slightly sharpened and crop to suit my taste. :wink:
