I took this while sitting with a bunch people taking pictures of the Nubble Lighthouse. They were pleasant to look at...

I played with the levels (pse) to try to tone down the whites a bit.

Hey Justin,

Although the comp is very nice as is the subject, I feel a lot is lost due to the high contrast. The light colord leaves next to the black shadows makes it a little busy to the eye. Some Fill flash could have helped here. Also the BG is a little busy which is not isolating the subject enough.
I would try to shoot this with the sun behind you and with a lower F-stop to blur the BG. Keep them coming buddy.

A subject with potential but I think that this is one of those times where the view through your eyes is probably a lot better than a photograph. The sunlight created some fairly extremem contrast that the sensor wasn't able to record resulting in a very contrasty scene. Retaking this under overcast conditions or by using a diffuser to soften the sunlight would result in a much better picture.

A little stark looking with the contrast as mentioned, but a wonderful subject to continue to work with.
Keep on shootin Justin! 8)

Pretty colors, agree on the quality of the light and DOF suggestion above.
