At least I think its a black-bellied whistling duck. Taken at the Viera Wetlands.

Agree with Fabio! I wish the FG grasses were not there though. Still, a great shot.

Beautiful water. I think a lower angle might have looked better, if possible.

I'm intrigued by your choice of f11 at 1/160. I would have gone for a larger aperture and faster shutter speed (that's not to say I would have been right to do so!).

I fully agree, but when you're at the end of the morning shoot and come across a species you've never seen before, you take what you can get. I can probably reduce the contrast some in PS (and reduce the sharpening as some have suggested) to see if t improves the picture any. Key thing for me was at least getting a photo of the species in case I don't see them again. Thanks for comment - I definitely do need to pay more attention to the light since I sometimes get carried away.
