This is an image of the same bird as my last post, but moments later when he went to another perch even closer! The shape of their face continues to amaze me.

A very unique view. Nicely done! I think I would crop the stick on the left but nice as is.

Bizzarro! They say these birds are mostly air and feathers. It is hard to imagine what the actual bird looks like under this odd arrangement of plumage. Good catch.

Different pose, Abie, and good catch.

I have collected a number of mounted birds over the years and use them for educational displays. I have a great gray and using my index finger I measure 2 inches from the sides of the dished face and from the top into the skull :!: :shock:
