This bird was feeding at Baylands Wetlands in Palo Alto.

I love the pose, the composition, the angle, and the sharpness. The background is really good - shows the bird's environment but does not distract from the subject.

If I was really nit-picking I would say that the bright OOF stem in the backgound that touches the neck is a little distracting - might be worth cloning it out or toning it down. But it's very minor!

This is gorgeous Juanli!! I really can't see a way to improve on this image. I especially like the sense of depth the OOF fg foliage gives this image. I'm looking forward to your next post. :)
