Nice image! Good detail in the dark feathers of the head. Looks very similar to a black capped chicadee over here. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Steward,

This really does look similar to our Black-capped Chickadee! Overall a very nice shot- this is one time when the bird not facing the viewer does not bother me.

I like the curious look on the bird's face but here on my awful work monitor I think I'm seeing a slightly yellowish color cast.

I think Alan said it already. Very nice image, but would be even better with a head turn.

If you think Black-capped Chickadee are similar try splitting these guys from Marsh Tit which they were considered conspecific with until the 20th century.
