It's been a few days since we've had a kestrel post so I thought I would add one from Bosque.

Funny thing about not having something in the frame to "scale" the bird is that quite a few people who have seen this image say "what a sweet tiny little bird!".

Thanks for looking!

A lovely, clean image, Chris. My two wishes are for a slight head turn and for him to be closer to the right edge of the frame.

Very nice! I think I would like to see it cropped a little tighter on top, bottom, and right. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice image, Chris! The blue sky bg and delicate perch go great with the kestral.

Sweet image. Nice and sharp. I wish he wasn't quite so centered but that is easy to fix. I need to get off my duff and start trying for these guys :) Good work.

Agree with Sandy on the head turn, but, the BG is perfect and a lovely image overall.

Sandy nailed it. Love the blue sky background and the way the feet are grasping at the perch.
