With all the fantastic owl flight shots posted, a common gull in flight seems a bit meager but it's the only other gull shot I have. One day last winter while shooting the ducks, several gulls appeared and I took this one as a grab shot on the fly by. Nothing special.....but it's a gull for the motif.

Keep your flight shot coming, Lana!
This one is exceptional and the tall wing span makes it for me ...

Nothing meager about this shot, Lana! Beautifully exposed, composed and detail. Love how the dark blue of the lower background.

Very nice Lana. Hardly meager in my view. I also like the fanned tail and the two-toned bg.

Great detail, a very nice composition, and sharp from wingtip to wingtip - I really like this picture.

Wow! This is fantastic in my book. So sharp and the DOF is incredible. I like how he's slightly banking away too. An awesome shot Lana.

Absolutely gorgeous, Lana. Sharp as a tack with a stunning vertical composition. Love the tail and feet. When you think your shots are mediocre, they turn out to be superb (remember the ice-skating mallard).

Lana, I love the angle on this, especially how he is banking. Far better than any gull shots I have or any flight shots I have for that matter. Fantastic image!
