First winter inmature of Larus minutus (Little Gull).

Only 120 gr. but still a gull :) :)
The only one seen in R.N. Delta del Llobregat this winter.

20D, Ef 500 L IS, TC 1.4x
ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/2000s.

R.N. Delta del Llobregat
Barcelona - Catalunya - Spain

This is very interesting, Joan. I know adult LIGU have dark wing linings while this seems light except the trailing edge of the primaries. Are they light in juvis or am I missing something.

Thanks for comment Harold. You're right. Juvis (1st winter) have light wing linings like this one. Adults have this lining very dark.
