Photography for us is a fun hobby that we enjoy. We like the visual aspect of photography with the instant composition which compared to painting is much faster to accomplish. We love to photograph animals and insects because of the pure enjoyment of capturing the moment! The paintings that we do are built up in layers like the Old Masters and that takes time to achieve. Photography allows us instant image with constant reward. We also photograph our paintings and our drawings which is another reason to use photography. Kyle's website http://www.artist-kyle.com which launched this month shows his classical style and his surreal imagery which are different and yet done with the same traditional techniques. Deborah's paintings are very much the same style but Deborah also does "Painted Finishes on furniture" which look old and of a time long ago when detail and technique were a craftperson's pride. We also enjoy the photo's posted on the forum which enlighten and inspire us.

Happy New Year and God Bless, Deborah and Kyle 8) 8)

Yep great looking couple, Deborah is gorgeous Kyle :D Painting is so hard Kyle, especially the compound eye of a fly, takes far too long  I wish I could paint for sure, something I love to see. I'll check out that link with the next cup of coffee.

All the best you two, a pleasure, very nice couple you two make.
