American Kestrel Falco sparverius
Bosque del Apache 12-3-04

Found this male hunting in the afternoon near the flight deck. Cropped more than 50%.
N90s, 500 f/4P, 1.4x, beanbag from truck, Provia 100F

You lost some plumage details probably due to the heavy crop applied ...
