 D70, 600f4, iso 400, 1/640, f7.1, about 25% crop. These herons are nesting on the north side of the pond, not on the little island. Taken today while out with Jim Urbach during windy, overcast conditions. This image had to be reduced to 50% for web posting - the facial details, eyes and whites are much better on the original.
