Wako Wetlands, yesterday, a bit before sunset.
This young one miscalculated its weight on the branch and kept bouncing up and down and finally had to leave without eating the flower.
Sorry about the motion blur, but with the lighting conditions I couldnt do any better.

A nice situation you had here. Looks a bit over flashed. I would make the catchlight a bit smaller and consider a vertical crop. I don't mind the ghosting.

This is so close Fab.... they are very hard to have in a favorable position !!! The body looks a bit strange but love the overall position particularly the wings !!!!

Congratulations !!!! 8) 8) 8)

I think this would be better with a different BG but I like the motion blur! :D

I like it. Really shows the action well and still enough detail to see everything well. Happy Holidays to you.

Fab
I don't know what's harder.....shooting at Wako or getting one of these guys out in the open. The action is great and I love the blurred wings.....really cool effect. I'm with Alan that it may be a tad overflashed...but it's an interesting image.
