I am trying to make vertical portrets of the birds at my feeder.
But I haven't been able to find a good composition.
Today I have been experimenting with compositions from an horizontal image I made earlyer.
So now my question is, is this a good composition?
What could I do to make it better?

Beautiful. Some selective sharpening of the head only would take it over the top.

The portrait is nice. I do wish you had mord DOF to get the right foot in focus. I'd love to see the horizontal.

The improvement in the second re-post is great ...
But like Alan, I'd really want to to see a horizontal in this one!
