Kestral

Just playing around with a few more Bosque images.....

D1x, 600mm f4, ISO 200, f11 - propped on top of minivan to shoot across to this fellow!

Image is cropped approx 30%... perhaps it needs a bit more USM?

I wonder why it was so soft in the first place and this image was from a straight 600/4?! :cry:

Yes it looks as if it needs some sharpening and a little boost in contrast

Hi,

I agree about the softness and also a little cut back in the blues.... In my experience a very difficutl bird to get. Keep going!
