flight at sunrise

From the flight deck.
I left the exposure a little hot hoping to capture more than just the sun. Here is the result, darkened in photoshop. Not much else except to straighten the horizon. I think that cropping the right side and the two cranes to the right might make the composition stronger. Comments?

Very nice Steve..................and I agree that the cropped version is stronger. BTW, those are geese not cranes :wink:

These are beautiful! I like the second crop better. The birds that are bringing up the rear in the first one pull my eyes away from the others.

This is a nice image Steve. I would be tempted to crop the left side to center the sun. Also remove the sharpening halos around the birds if you are going print this. Exposure looks fine.

Beautiful photo. I prefer the uncroped shot. The composition of the smaller one is stronger, but it doesn't tell the whole story...

I like the first image more myself. I think its because of how it seems like sun is the main focus on the shot, and the birds make the image. But thats just me!

Great Shot, no matter how its cropped;)
