I must agree this is a sensational shot. I'm seeking fairness in nit picking. The legs of this bird are hot and lack detail. It's a pretty stupid comment from me but it is what I see on my monitor if I take time to nit pick. Nothing personal. Your work is always a cut above good.

Hendrix, I placed the branch in the handle of a tripod with the Bg in mind and the angle of the sun behind me, and the person who owned the bird placed him on the perch.

Beautiful light! I love the pose with a nice view of the back of the Kestrel and nice head turn. The leafy perch is wonderful and adds a very graceful feeling to the photo. Very well done!
