Hi Folks,

Like what my dive/photo buddy Woody Mayhew says, not sure if fish have an adolecent stage, but this is the "young'in" stage of the Emperor Angelfish, as they mature, the lines turn yellow and blue and go diagonally across the body and the bullseye pattern disappears except for some white lines along the lower body....however the white streak on the dorsal area is retained.

I'm always impressed with UW stuff and this is no exception. The subjects are so incredibly colorful. Aside from the mentioned nits this is a nice image!

Dennis may be happy that you guys resurfaced, but I'm happy that you've gone off the deep side again.

Love these UW posts. The fish certainly has an interesting pattern. I had no idea that the coloration changed so much on some fish as they aged. Although when I look in the mirror I'd see the same thing happening to my hair.

What a cool looking fish! I love the bulls-eye pattern on its side. I do agree that it is nice to see you UW guys posting here. It adds a nice bit of variety to this forum.
