Blue Butterfly (ID help wanted)

The wings are blurred because of the slow shutter speed, plus she was beating her wings pretty fast, I did noticed a raised abdomen while she was fanning her wings and a few other butterflies trying to mate or perch near her, Here you can see one trying to land, I don't know is she is a female or male, but her actions was getting plenty of attention from the other similar butterflies, I know that moths do this with pheromones to attract their mates, maybe butterflies do as well!!
D1X-Raw, Manual Mode , 1/250sec SS-f/10 flash, -2/3EV on camera, flash main, Lens=70-200mm afs-f/2.8 + 2XII, FL=350mm, hand held, ISO-200, Dual flash setup, Main flash in D-TTL mode SB-800 at 0EV, Second flash in manual mode SB-800 (BG lighting), I found that I could trigger the slave on the SU-4 setting, but quickly learned that the output of the slave would affect the duration of the on camera flash resulting at times in underexposure with the main flash, by manually adjusting the slave on the minus power range I could get the desired results!!
Just trial and error!!
Any comments and or reposts are always welcome!!

I don't recall the species offhand, but the behavior is that of a female. She will raise her abdoman when a suitable male hovers over her to signle her readiness to breed. The horndog hovering to the left is her would-be date. As always, Alex, great flash work.

Love the action - a rare capture. I think H sara is right, but I'm better on N American natives...
