Excellent details; there may be a magenta color shift, the web doesn't look whitish. Love the DOF. Hope I find one this year!

I agree that there may be a magenta cast to it, but overall, still a nice shot showing wonderful details and very nice comp!

Tim,

Nice shot. I like the clean background.

This is a yellow garden spider (argiope aurantia). They are beginning to come out now (I have just started to see a few of these on LI). They can get quite large and fat. I assume that the real big ones are the females.
