Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Landscapes Gallery, week ending 6th January, 2012!Here's a really intimate landscape. :-) Captured this am at 6° in the Cadwell Memorial Forest Beaver Pond.

I guess this could have gone in Flora and Macro, but thought I'd share it here. Maybe I'll put it there later too.

Whoa!!! This is really freaking cool! I love the super "alien" feel to the image, and the texture in the ice star is fantastic...I relaly like this one a lot...

This is fantastic Steve. I love the brilliant colors, exquisite detail, and fantastic shape of the ice formation.

Note that forum guidelines prohibit posting the same image in multiple image critique forums. So landscapes is where this will stay, although I think it is perhaps more appropriate for Flora and Macro.

Thanks Kari. Guess I missed that in the guidelines....sorry. I just left a note with the image in F&M and will take it down tomorrow unless you feel it should come down sooner.
