There are an infinite number of potential photo subjects at the Desert Museum in Tucson and squirrels are not high on that list. Nevertheless, when I observed this critter lunching I felt compelled to fire off a couple of shots last February and I found this one endearing. So here it is.
Canon EOs 1V, Canon 300/4.0 IS + 1.4 TC. Handheld (if I recall correctly), Fuji P100F at 100. Techs not recorded. No flash.
Seems a bit drab on my monitor compared to the slide. Any comments, revisions quite welcome and appreciated.

Cool shot JM.. makes you wonder how they can sit there on all those cactus spines comfortably. Looks like you got him right in the middle of lunch.. Thanks for sharing in the FFM forum..

Nice one Joe. Quite sharp and no drabiness from here. The yellow fruit of the barrell cactus is good too.

Well I'm not doing well with color myself so can't say much there, except it looks ok to me on that count. The bright yellow fruit is a nice touch. The little guy is kinda centered, I'd consider cropping some from left and top. I will have to watch for these next time I'm down there!

Nice shot. The colours look good to me, the splashes of yellow work really well.
