Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania, January 2004

I have been playing around with different looks for a few weeks, which includes some vignetting, out of focus edges, sepia toning, etc etc etc. I have this image in color above our couch at 20x30, but I thought about playing around with b&w a bit. I would love to know your thoughts.

I am off for yet another Africa workshop tomorrow, so I won't be able to read many posts until late July. Sorry I haven't posted an image in quite a while, as we have purchased a house and have been fixing it up in Houston (we live in Austin currently). We hope to move right when we get back from Africa.

See you in a month!

The comp is really great, so the picture is very well suited to either color or septia. It must be a great seller! It certainly represents the wild and open spaces that most people associate with Africa.

Andy this is a great environment shot....I like how the subject is small in the frame.....it makes for a more moody image.

Good stuff, Andy. Lots of intersting cloud detail as well.
