Lesser Goldfinch - Male Sunset Canyon, Central Texas

I think the strange white feather is from some imperfect preening. :D

The whites are a bit hot here.

Very funny title and interesting feather sticking up. I'd like to see the bird turned a bit more toward us. Really pretty exposure and bg. Sets off that bright yellow wonderfully.
