Fauna or avian?

Just back from a trip to Tanzania and Kenya that was extremely productive. This was shot in the Serengeti and had only a moment when this white-necked raven jumped on top of the buffalo and started to call. Wish the composition wasn't centered and that I had shot it vertically, but it wouldn't fit vertically and I didn't have time to change lenses. Any composition/cropping suggestions?

Very funny shot. The plant growing out of his ear cracks me up even more than the bird.

Very funny indeed! As for a crop, I might try a square around the buffalo's horns.

Welcome back Rich. Very funny. I agree about maybe a square crop, don't need the empty space on the left eye. Very funny image..

Rich, how did the new MKII hold up? I suspect I am going to have more dust issues than with my previous trips. How was your experience with the dust on the sensor?
