Hello all! This guy came quickly at me as I blasted away with a Nikon D2H at 8fps. Five were framed and focused well.

Ron, welcome to NSN. This is a great first post. I love that he's coming straight at you. A good comp as the space at the bottom is great for the bird to take off on. My only wish and not a nit, is that the other bird was not there.

look forward to seeing more of your work.

Ditto what Alan said. Great action shot with just that one minor nit of the other bird.

A fine long study. You can navigat this up 4 steps and lasso the area with the second bird and then clone stamp in the adjacent colors withour missing anything or going over the selected area.

This is a cool shot. I think if I'd seen this guy coming at me I'd have ducked instead of hit the shutter. Very nice....and welcome to NSN.

Re: Removing bird in background
Thanks all for your kind remarks. This shot is part of a sequence in which bird #2 becomes more significant in the next frame. Thus it would be inappropriate to clone it out. I will post the next frame in the future.

Excellent image Ron. I might crop some off the bottom since the reflection isn't that defined. Welcome to NSN.
