Elk Island Moose

This was taken a few weeks ago.

Sigma 50-500, Sensia 100. I suspect this was handheld (or probably resting on the car window ledge).

It seems most of the images I processed recently look too dark and contrasty when I look at them on this monitor. This is the best of the lot. I only use Adobe Gamma, but I think I should run it again on my home computer... (This one at work isn't even calibrated at all, but since everyone else's pictures look fine, I don't think the problem is here.)

I like how the two bare trees frames the moose adds dimension to the young moose.

I would title this one "Twiggy" :)

Not sure what the spot is just above the back of the moose a little distracting.

A sweet and sleepy-looking little mooselet. Also wondered about the object above the back. Image is not too dark on my monitor; does appear reddish, but that may be the grasses, etc.

Certainly doesn't look too dark on my monitor Paul, nice detail in the young Moose and I agree with Julie it seems to have a slight reddish cast? which I would tone down.
