Probably my last post on this Whimbrel series ...

Captured yesterday morning at a nature reserve here in Hong Kong. The shorebird migration season is fast coming to an end. Perhaps for another two weeks or so, they will all head north back to their breeding grounds. :(

Beautiful and full of nice detail. It fits the vertical format nicely. Thanks for sharing these great flight shots.

Your flight shots are always a treat and this one is no exception! I love the soft tones that run throughout this image.

KK,
Very nice... very sharp and great composition. I wish the left wing was raised just a bit more, but thats a minor nit. nice one!

Another stunning shot. I'm really envious of your ability with flight shots.
I'd be interested to hear if you spot any waders with bands or flags on their legs. White, or white over green flags are NZ caught and a few have been recorded at Yalu Jiang over the last few months.

Your flight shots brighten my mornings. They are a true delight. This one is another excellent example of what few can do with a 10D.

KK, Just excellent. I've been so busy that I have not viewed many images lately. I'll make the time to go back and see your other posts.

KK, you should be very proud of this one, as well as your previous shots of the two Whimbrels and the 4 Black-tailed Godwits. All 3 of these shots are stellar, and you've succeeded in making me envious. These photos probably would look stunning as large prints.
