Bald Eagle with fish (most of it's gone)

This eagle used to hang out by and in a nest near Dulac. Always go by there to check on them and went by a couple of weeks ago and there was a great horned owl in the nest........not an eagle in sight! Maybe they'll come back, the owl has since left, so it's available again. I'll keep checking.....

Darlene, I like the way you framed the bird within the trees. Some tweeking in curves could brighten this up a bit. Nice shot.

Nice catch with the beak open-- I can almost hear him. I agree, the frame-in-frame is marvellous!

Darlene, the framing is nice. The image appears to be at least 1 stop underexposed? How did you meter this?
