Nice panther close up with a wonderful painterly background. Whites look a little hot..if you get another chance maybe eval -1 and flash -2.. Thanks for posting in Wildlife

These Florida Panthers or Pumas are certainly beautiful animals Michael and this one is a prime example of the species. I agree with Dennis on the whites, and for what its worth I always shoot at -1 for animals with any white on them. This is still a beautiful shot and those eyes are gorgeous!

If you have any more shots bring them on!! 8) :)

Michael,
Handsome animal well portrayed with the exception of the whites already mentioned. I also enjoyed the unique background here. Well done.

Nice portrait- like the relaxed look. Perhaps a touch more USM also.

I love the soft shades of brown of Florida panthers/cougars, and this one looks beautiful. They're just big ol' kitties. :)

I might work on that hot spot a little... Maybe partial pressure with the clone tool, from some nearby fur?

Nice shot.

Nice portrait. When I was at the park in Feb, the panther never came into a position for me to get a shot.

Nice portrait capturing a beatiful animal, Richard -- I think the personality of the panther comes across well in this shot. Some reprocessing might help the presentation as far as sharpness and highlights.
