Taken two years ago at Bombay Hook NWR, I stumbled across a pair of these guys while out testing my new 300mm lens. They gave me quite a show, one which I was not fully prepared for as a photographer, but an experience that I will not soon forget.

Nikon D1x, Nikon 300mm f/2.8 w/TC1.4, 1/160 sec, f/4, ISO 250

I love how the leaves frame the face making those eyes just pop out!

Lots of elements and lots of layers in this image but they combine to produce an well integrate whole imo - nice work. It took me a little time to work out that the strange things I was seeing in the b/g were part of a © symbol, though!

You did a nice job of getting this one!!! Cute little face too! Red foxes are one of my favourite native mammals :)

I am surprised by this, because the copyright watermark is not visible on my monitor. Do others see my watermarks on my images also? Maybe it's a PC thing, since I work on a Mac.

Very cute subject. Would have been nice if the stick in front of his face was not there but still a very nice image.
