Hi friends!

I was trying out my old Jupiter M21 lens on a D60 last weekend and man how did those guys do it in the manual focus era? I was shooting these little birds and they are lightning fast, if You have the time to focus You probably won't have the shutterspeed to freeze them. On this shot I should have probably pushed the ISO to 400 to get a higher shutterspeed and freeze the little fella during the landng. These are very common in Estonia, maybe someone can help with the English name? Thanks! Shoul the picture not work, just click here: http://www.zone.ee/svenzacek/lind.htm

I got it now

Talk about capturing the action at the precise moment. Nice.

I downloaded your image off the html page and reposted it so it would show inline with your original post. You need to put the link to the jpg image and not to a HTML page for this to show.

This is a nice image and timed very well. The bird is a little soft.

Welcome to NatureScapes. I look forward to seeing more of your work. :D

Thanks Bill! With link I pointed to my page but when I posted the image I used the actual jpg URL, I suppose my webspace provider doesn't allow direct linking. Will try to do better next time.
