Wood Duck Interaction

After seeing Bill's post of this behavior, I thought I would share another. I wish I could have gotten a lower angle as Bill did, but thats how it goes sometimes.

Forgot to add that these are captive ducks at a maintained duck pond where my wife works. That's why my angle is a bit steep. I had to shoot over a three foot high wood fence.

10D, 400/5.6, beanbag, f8 @ 1/500

Great interaction. I agree about a lower angle but I know that's not always possible.

Thanks for all the kind words. I am just getting into bird photography and find it to be most challenging, but very rewarding. I have learned much from studing the many great shots posted here.
