Bar-headed Goose Anser indicus
(captive - found in Russia, India, China)
Image shot in Crandon Park last week. I know this composition violates the "rule-of-thirds", and the eye placement may not work for everyone, but it works for me.
Canon D60, 600 IS, 550EX/BB - 1 2/3, ISO200, 1/400, f/8.0, RAW.

The eye placed 1/3 of the way down from the top keeps the composition from feeling static. The detail is amazing and I love the goose's sweet expression.

Very nice shot, Rich. :)

Took many shots of this guy and his pals this weekend. Nice shot with a good background.
