Last winter Ken Scheben and I took a trip up to the upper Delaware to Photograph bald eagles while driving along the river Ken spotted this guy up in a tree. It wasn't in a great spot so I tried to isolate it's face and claws from underneath.

Canon 1D 100-400 550ex, Handheld, Center waited metering 1/60 @ f9, Fill flash -1, Manual focus.

IMO it is too tight and too small.

If the post was bigger it might work, I don't know. Now I have the feeling looking through a key hole.

I like the face. Eye, nose and the orange teeth.
