Back to seeds again. This is the seed head of yellow goatsbeard- it looks like a very large dandelion puff, diameter a two or three inches across:

A summer shot. These don't last long- I've seen goldfinches avidly eat the seeds before the winds blows them.

Oh man, I have tried to get a very similar image without success. There are never and full seed heads around. Great shot and gorgeous comp.
