This is me from almost 2 years ago. With my camera bag!  I've been interested in photography since I was about 16. I used to have a b & w, and a color enlarger for years. This hobby of mine was sidetracked for about 16 years when I was married. I'm trying to get back into it and finally learn how to take a picture! Thanks to Michael Brown :D , I'm here! Y'all are all inspirations to me.

Thank you Sveingud, Fabiola, Wil, and Alfred! :D

Afred, the picture I sent you when I was 6 years old, I had the same hairstyle only my bangs were shorter!  This picture was taken with my same camera guessing at the exposure. It was overexposed and I used the curve thing.

Well hooooowdy Lisa :D Great to put a face to a great personality. Yep, photography (especially nature) is good for the soul. Its a wonderful world out there and it allows us to switch off sometimes. Michael, well thats another matter altogether Lisa. I could write a book on that guy. Trouble is, it would be banned. :D

All the best Lisa, a real pleasure this one. :D

Michael, thanks for saying all of that. As soon as I quit going through this working 6 days a week phase in my life (when the holiday season is over) I'm heading over to the Rose Garden and take rolls and rolls using the 3rds rule! Lots of different roses with the same composition? I HOPE NOT!

Thank you very much for making me feel so welcome here!

Kyle, it's real nice meeting you, too. And I love your pictures you post and enjoy the comments that you post.

Paul, the only picture of me that was taken in the swamp was when I was standing up and laughing and my friend who was taking the picture was sitting down shooting up at me. So you know my neck was looking pretty fat. YUK! :( :D
